Clearly you don't understand the concept of parody. I don't know how you could have enjoyed one single moment of this show without an understanding of and appreciation for parody.

Kerri is not attempting to do an "authentic" Australian accent. She intentionally broadens the accent for laughs.

Wouldn't it be great if they filmed the recording session just like PBS did for the Original Cast Album of "Company" in (1971).
It was so cool watching that "making of" video. Especially because of Elaine Stritch but can you just imagine watching Jackie Hoffman in the recording studio? LMAO at the thought.
