Only plays 10 or so shows in Texas.It sounds like a fun project to me and a good way to get back on the stage and work out some cobwebs. There is other things going on in fact she's in NYC this weekend for audition.Shhhhh!

So are hundreds of other actors and actresses!!! Shhhh!!!

I'm not sure the world needs yet another version of The Wizard of Oz but I'm all for new writers trying out new things.

I'm pretty sure even AEA members can do non-union shows within certain guidelines. That shouldn't be an issue.

Did anyone else see the title "Oz: The Musical" and think of, say, the rousing act-one closing number "Don't Drop the Soap"?

*raises hand* Guilty as charged.

Although I find the opening number "Gonna Get Shanked Today" *much* catchier. :3

I don't know anything about this, but having seen Diana in Hairspray and various clips from BKLYN, I'm sure she'll make this worth seeing. She needs to come back to Broadway soon.

Those videos are horrendous. I hope that was just a first time performance to try the show out and work out kinks. Todrick Hall should thank his lucky stars he's gotten a major upgrade this time around with his leading lady. Even if nothing else improves, with Diana as "Dorothy" the singing should be fantastic.
