#1Did Anyone See "She'll Be Back" in an early Into the Woods screener?
Posted: 1/20/15 at 2:23amThey cut it late in post I was just curious if it was in a screener and anyone could remark on it.

Posted: 1/20/15 at 10:18amIf I'm not mistaken, they announced that they had cut the song quite a bit before screeners were released. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Posted: 1/20/15 at 10:22amNo one has seen it. It was said that the song ruined the pacing of the film. Which is usually code for 'it sucked'. It couldn't have been as bad as that "Suddenly" song from Les Mis.

Posted: 1/20/15 at 10:30amIt was in the early screenings of the film (not screeners). The song wasn't bad. The tone was just wrong for where it was in the movie. Meryl was very good in performing it. It just wasn't needed.

Posted: 1/20/15 at 10:31amIt was not in the screener I received. I believe that song was cut before the screeners were distributed.

Posted: 1/20/15 at 10:31amI stand corrected. It was supposed to replace the lament, right?

Posted: 1/20/15 at 10:34amNo, It came immediately after Lament. It is why Lament doesn't end on a higher note like the original version... so the song could transition.

It's apparently included in the published vocal selections for the film, so I'm surprised we haven't it at all:
