Recently came across a Playbill in my closet for Les Mis which lists the Shubert as its venue. I've never seen the show, so I don't know why it was in my house. There's no listing for it at the Shubert on IBDB (which I know is a debatable site), so I'm coming to the knowledgeable people in cyberspace.
When did it play the Shubert and for how long?

I don't think it played the Shubert in NYC. I thnk it played the Shubert in Boston in 1987.
ETA: When it played the Imperial Theater it was playing in a "Shubert" house.

No, LES MIS never played the Shubert Theatre in New York. It opened in the Broadway Theatre in 1987 and at that time A CHORUS LINE was still running in the Shubert. LES MIS transferred to the Imperial Theatre to vacate the Broadway Theatre for MISS SAIGON which opened there in 1991. LES MIS ended its run at the Imperial.

It's probably a Playbill from a tour. Look at the articles and listings inside the Playbill. You can figure out which city it's from from those.

This reminds me of Eve and Addison: "There is no Shubert Theatre in San Francisco. It was a stupid lie, and you were a stupid girl to try to make me look stupid by telling me your stupid story, you stupid star."
Or something like that.
Les Mis first played in Los Angeles at the Shubert Theater in Los Angeles (Century City). Alas, the theater has been recently leveled.
Woot, I'm seeing Les Mis in 8 days!
