Is the general rule to sell rush tickets when the box office opens for both the matinee and evening shows (on a two show day) or are there two rushes on those days?

Or is it different at each theater?

Definitely when the box office opens, unless the policy states otherwise. Some rushes may be 2 or 2.5 hours before the actual showtime. But if they go on sale when the box office opens, you can purchase for either performance.
