When I read the title of this thread I groaaaaned for a few mintues before actually getting the courage to click and read this stupidity.
Kudos to the Broadway Worlders with more than half a brain for slamming this post. <3
Original poster,
Please go **** yourself. Thank you.
face. palm.
Wait -- You're praising ALW? Maybe you should look into some opera. I hear Puccini stole a LOT of stuff from Phantom...
(PS -- sarcasm. Hear it?)
And that blasted Frank Loesser stole from the breathtaking title song of Jesus Christ Superstar to create his lousy song "Rosemary" for How to Succeed in Something or Other. What's the show called? Even though he died in 1969 (three years before Superstar opened) and even though that show opened in 1961, he must have used time travel. He made a lot of money off Guys and Dolls, y'know.
Moses stole the original story of Joseph from Tim Rice, too.
