re: Did your high school do FOOTLOOSE?

EWWWW...I cannot believe you guys would like Footloose. What a stupid show. YUCK..

What makes me even more sad is that the performers doing it now don't even know that Footloose is a movie.

I was living in Manhattan (I was on tour at the time, actually) when Footloose opened on Broadway and I have to say those cast members were the most stuck up actors I have ever met. They were always at the same bars my cast would frequent. We hated them because of their terrible attitudes.

Young and full of themselves. They weren't the only people on Broadway for God's sake, get a grip.

Even though this was posted a few months ago, I'm gonna talk about Footloose. I'm in Footloose at my local theatre for a summer theatre program. I'm playing the part of Bickle! A lot of the kids in the cast are really talented, especially the one playing Chuck Cranston. we haven't really started rehearsals yet because we're still doing workshop stuff but it's gonna be fun!

Now when I was in High School the question would be "did you do West Side Story?" LOL!!!

No. although i wish they would.
Kristin Chenoweth could barely control a Great Dane she trotted onto the stage. "Great, they gave me a dog that weighs five times what I do", she quipped. For the record, she weighs 93 pounds, and has a Maltese.

We almost did... it was down between 42nd Street, Footloose, and Seussical the Musical.

I'm guessing my school will do it in the near future....hopefully in the middle school, since I'm finally out. I hate that show. But my director is actually thinking about Les Mis.

re: Did your high school do FOOTLOOSE?

never did footloose at my school. But I saw an incredible communtiy theater production of it a few years ago with basically everyone in my school except me. We all thought it was going to be our big musical this year, but it ended up being Gypsy. Much better, but not a lot of parts for guys.

We DID do West Side Story, though!

Oh yes, and let me just say they picked the wrong Ren. I was Garvin, I had so much fun with it. Footloose is really just a fun musical and I love that fact that its all songs we know and kinda love.

My senior year we did Footloose (which was actually 2 months ago because I just graduated). It was a great show and it did extremely well! I played the part of Rusty and personally, I think it was the best production I've ever been in! It was cast so well! Footloose is such a fun show!!
