Not in highschool though it was a popular show. I did a community theatre production of it going into my sr. year of high school. I was one of Chuck's cronies...can't remember the name and then in the ensemble. Had fun w/ that show

Yeah - we were one of the first productions when the rights came out. It was by far our best show in a long time. Lots of fun!

Well it wasn't a high school production but a community theatre one. It was the best show we've done in a LONG time. I played the part of Samuel, the director made the part for me. I was the hall moniter and I got to act like a total dork (not that it's that hard). It was so much fun.

Mine did it, as well.
I just did costumes, but it was a great show!
Most of the schools in my area did Footloose, and Singin' in the Rain, that was another big one.

We did FOOTLOOSE... four years ago? My freshman year. It was our best show, ever since I've been in High School. Everything after that sucked.
Sigh. Such is life, and our crappy director.

Yeah, we did it my junior year. It was very good. The show isn't a brilliant show, but we had a great time, and won a bunch of Regional High School Theatre Awards. Great time...

No, but my community theatre did it, and I was Ariel. (my high school director hates it)
That show is my guilty pleasure. At times, I still dance around to Hero with my hairbrush as the mic.

I saw two productions just before I came to Poland.
One had a phenomenal cast, and a director/choreographer that used to be a dancer on Broadway.
Both were terrible.
Nothing can rise above this dreck.
The only decent material was in the film. Why, oh why did they bring this to the stage?

i suggested it for our senior play but we are doing bye bye birdie instead. ANywho, my friends school performed it.
"At the opening night party, they had clowns on stilts, jugglers, a chocolate fountain, popcorn, hot dogs. [My son] looked at me like I had been holding back. Like, 'This is what you do?' I had to tell him, 'No, no, darling. Opening nights don't usually look like this.' It's usually a dark bar with a bottle of vodka." ?Chitty Chitty Bang Bang's Jan Maxwell

Our school is doing Rent.
Just kidding. I doubt any public school would do Rent. Les Mis, I did that one! I was Gavorache!

I played Chuck Cranston when my high school did it, and I had the time of my life. This show is so underrated, it's not even funny.

This was my favorite show I ever did. I played Shaw and it was just incredible to have a role with a powerful message. I usually was cast as the idiot (like Williard) and then I got this part and I was able to actually act for a change and I love this show for letting me do that.
