I saw her on tour, and she was the weakest link of the cast.

She was never a cast member of Diff'rent Strokes. I could be wrong, but who did she play? I think the headline was just playing with words.

You might want to read that again. It says nothing about her having been on the show. It's just the headline.

The headline is "Diff'rent Strokes": Renata Will Be Coleman in Avenue Q. It says nothing about a cast member. I saw her on tour and I could barely understand her when she sang.

I saw video previews of her, and she didn't seem bad, just not as strong as other Garys. But good for her! I thought she was funny on Will and Grace..
Just a little side note, I was able to catch Danielle K. Thomas on tour, and she was amazing. Great comedic timing, every time she said "Gary Coleman" and looked out into the audience with that smile, they just burst into laughter.

RENATA ROCKS!!!!
She brought a ton of great comic timing and facial expression to that thankless role on the tour! One of the best "Garys" I've seen!

I saw Danielle K. Thomas on tour in Chicago. She was great-so funny! She looked so much like Gary Coleman it was amazing. I loved when she did the "motorboat" in Lucy the Slut's boobs.
