I'm sure this has been covered before but I can't find a post. We're in town for three days and four plays. We already have tickets for Heisenberg, the Great Comet and DEH. I want to see Falsettos on Friday and trying to map out my itinerary with a TKTS booth location. I noticed today, as of now, the Time Square location is not offering that show, but the Seaport and Brooklyn locations are. Is this common? Do they all start with about the same amount of inventory and Times Square sells out first? Trying to figure out where I should be if I want to get these tickets on Friday. Thanks in advance.
The Times Square location is selling matinee tickets right now; the other two booths are selling evening tickets. It could be that tickets aren't available for the matinee today but are for the evening.
Thanks AC. I see that now. Friday should be less confusing since there is only an evening performance.
In general, it is very rare that the Times Square location DOESN'T have shows that the other locations have -- although the reverse is commonly true. Your best bet is to go to the Times Square location.
The benefit of the Seaport and Brooklyn locations is they begin selling tickets for same-day evening performances at 11am, whereas Times Square doesn't begin selling evening shows until 3pm (2pm on Tuesday). So if you can make it to those locations, you can get first dibs on available tickets that night.
