i was about 30th in line, and a woman cut in front of me. she kept asking about "Harvey" who just left. It turns out, Harvey was Harvey Fierstein and the woman who cut in line was Jenn Gambatese. funny

Got there at 10:45 and was in the lobby and got 1 CD signed for myself. NY1 interviewed the first girl in line, the girl in front of me, me, and the guy behind me. It was a quick and easy process. Very fun! The CD is GREAT!

OMG - I know that I have like 10 people in front of me already on this thread who are in need of a CD, because they live out of town, but hey ya can't kill a girl for trying, if anyone happens to have extra's and want to take pitty on all of our less fortunate souls it would be greatley appreciated and of course I would pay for the shipping and all that good stuff.

Also, thanks to everyone who posted the pics, it looks like it was so much fun!! Free Broadway CD's it dosen't get much better than that!

I'm posting a little late but I wanted to say that I had fun and I hope that this helps spread the word about what a great show DRS is. Norbs and the cast were so great! And I got to take a pic with Barret Foa!

I had a great time today. I got in line at about 10:10 and there were only about 20 people in front of me. Once the line started moving it went quick. I talked to a few nice people got my cd and left. I also saw the matinee today. What a great show. If Norbert doesn't win the Tony then something is wrong. He was GREAT.

Aww, wish I got there a bit earlier to have seen a lot of Bway people getting CDs, I just saw Bruce on the street. I got there around...11:40, 11:45...got the CD right away(I also didn't know you could get more than one, sorry everyone), and exited the lobby at about 12:56, at least I wasn't in a rush. When I was like 5 people away from the table, John(who I was okay with because I have his autograph at the stage door) got up but Joanna did too! I was really mad, I was especially excited to talk with her, since she never goes to the stage door. Oh well. No pics, but a couple of notes. First off, Greg Jbara is an absolute doll!(Em, hope it's okay if I use your description, it's perfect). I noticed as soon as I entered the lobby he was talking to everyone, whether they said anyting or were shy. He would comment to people on their shirts, ask them about colleges, I kept trying to think of something to say, but I couldn't think...so I got there and he smiled at me and said hi and asked me how I was and I was like good, how are you(stupid, really couldn't think of much to say), and he was like good and asked me how long I had been in line, I said around 11:40ish and he was like wow really? Well thanks a lot for waiting, you must really like us, ha. Found another way to tell Norbie he has to win the tony(figured he wouldn't remember me from another time, he called me sweetie again). Then Sherie was talking to someone so David Yazbeck took my CD and signed it then Sherie signed it then David signed it again, I laughed. Sherie told me I was lucky, now it's more valuable with two of his autographs. Everyone was really nice, fun times.

Too bad I didn't know what more of you looked like, I was sure there must have been a lot of you right around me but I didn't know, oh well, I said hi to TGIF though, she was probably much smarter than me and got there earlier.

Damn me for waiting this long to ask... now I'm like 47th in line! lol. But hey it couldn't hurt to ask. Unfortunately, I live in Cleveland (hooray...), so if anyone did obtain multiple copies and wants to be a buddy, I would pay for shipping. PM if you would be willing.

wicked, your post made me smile ... thanks for sharing ... that sounds exactly like Greg! That is just the way he is. Did you get any photos with him?

I don't know if everyone here knows this, but we have been posting stage door photos with/by fans on Greg's web site. Photos from the record giveaway event are also welcome ... in fact, today, I'll be posting three that someone from the board is graciously sharing with us. Not sure technically if I can add them to the "stage door" gallery, or maybe I'll start a "DRS record giveaway" one. lol Hey, if anyone else wants to share any of their photos that include Greg, send them to [e-mail]. my copy is winging it's way from Manhattan as I type. My partners sister went for us, left a cryptic message last night laughing, that something had "happened" so we're dying to call her to find out what.
Knowing her, she probably became bests friends with the cast.......or God onlys knows.....

To all who are asking about copies. It is now available at Amazon for under $14....while that isn't free or autographed, it's still pretty cheap.

How does the free cd differ from the one that is being commercially released in a few weeks, if is does differ? Thanks.

The one being released on the 10th has 3 bonus tracks and the booklet with the lyrics and an intro.
