My almost 12 yr old son wants to bring some friends of his to a Broadway show for his birthday. I'm fine with anything up to the inappropriateness levels of Dear Evan Hansen. Also, If you have a discount code for any of these shows please share them with me.

He would not like to see groundhog day, school of Rock, wicked, aladdin, or great comet.

We would rather have a price lower than $60.

you should try the TodayTix app. lots of shows and usually marked down. most of the shows you can buy up to a week in advance, but some are available up to 30 days in advance. I use the app a lot and have saved a lot of money. also, if you use my referral code RSDSI, you get $10 off your first purchase, and I get $10 toward a show too!

Aside from lottery/rush on the day before/of, you're not going to get any tickets that cheap in advance.

If you meet the eligibility requirements for tdf, I would highly recommend considering a membership especially since you're looking for tickets <$60. Granted, there's no guarentee of availability nor the seats being together, but that's your best bet for your price range.

agreed. not many tickets to be had for under $60 unless its a last-minute deal. Broadway Week deals may help, but I haven't seen anything for that low.

It depends on the size of your group and how flexible you are on the date, but usually there are group sales discounts. Sometimes you only need a group of 10 to be offered group rates. They won't be amazing seats, but rear-mezz seats on some shows that are going to be opening soon are around $50. How about Once on this Island? There are no bad seats at Circle in the Square.
