Greekmusicalfan, you're back!! The flea market is like a week or two after AIDA closes, so there's got to be something going on to that affect. Maybe our beloved Adam will decide to grace us with his presence.

Oh, and as far as I know, they're now shooting for Fall of 2006 with Tarzan.

I just hate Disney altogether. I would hate to see certain Disney productions on Broadway. For example, I don't mind Beauty and the Beast or Aladdin but I HATE The Lion King and The Little Mermaid.

"I'm learning to dig deep down inside and find the truth within myself and put that out. I think what we identify with in popular music more than anything else is when someone just shares a truth that we can relate to. That's what I'm searching for in my music." - Ron Bohmer

"I broke the boundaries. It wasn't cool to be in plays- especially if you were in sports & I was in both." - Ashton Kutcher

I totally forgot Tarzan was Disney! But I'm so excited for it (especially if Adam Pascal's going to be in it!!!). That's going to be really great.

The only problem with Disney movies being staged is that in almost all of them, there are huge fight scenes with millions of creatures/people. That would be really hard (Like in Mulan- there's all the Huns, plus the mountain scene, the Horse, etc.).

I have my books and my poetry to protect me...

"Grease," the fourth revival of the season, is the worst show in the history of theater and represents an unparalleled assault on Western civilization and its values. - Michael Reidel

YES! I always imaginged a marvelous opening sequence for HERCULES during "The Gospel Truth"! Wouldn't it be neat for all the Muses to be on these HUGE pillars moving them all about every which way on the stage up and down and sideways as it accomodates for the story? All the costuming for the gods and goddesses and everything! It would be just splendid!

My vote goes to Mary Poppins, Little Mermaid, and ... what if they make a musical version of Pollyana? (Sorry folks, but that movie makes me cry EVERY TIME...and yes, I still watch it.)

the big fault with Disney films is that they ALL follow the exact same formula... every last one of them. I know I know.. if it ain't broke, don't fix it.. but come on now.
