the ring tone - idk i have a verizon phone and they have a disney downloading thing on it - it used to be on there but i'm not sure if it is anymore
Having also seen both, I prefer the Florida (MGM) version as well. There are some things I like in the Disneyland version- such as the Mark Twain boat, but overall, I prefer the specially built arena in Florida. The Disneyland one just feels a bit cramped at times.
I don't think either Fantasmic was ever meant as anything more than an amazing spectacle. Certainly not Broadway entertainment. I can't imagine you'll ever see a Broadway show with this many technical components.
This thread has made me want to go back to Disneyworld!!

I just got back from Disney World and I found Fantasmic to be a HUGE disappointment. Over half the show consisted of film clips from animated movies everyone has already seen projected on fountains of water. The actual performance moments were ok, but few and far between. Other than a couple of brief stuntman moments, there seemed to be no point to the extended live Pocahontas sequence. The special effects were dazzling, but only amounted to about 5 minutes of the entire show. MGM is the smallest and most congested of the Disney parks and to see this letdown at the end of a particularly exhuasting day was a total downer. The original fireworks show for MGM was far superior (even better than the Magic Kingdom fireworks show at the time).
the disneyworld version sucks. the disneyland version is much better. still cheesey though.
