#1Do I buy tickets now or wait??

My sister and I are coming to NYC next May. I started looking up tickets for West Side Story and Billy Elliott, with both offering seats for center orch., but in rows like p, q, and t... Should I grab these tickets now or do I wait? Does TicketMaster release better seats as the date gets closer? I have no idea how the system works, so if you have any insights, I'd appreciate the help! Thanks!!!

For Billy Elliot it's Telecharge so try hitting "click next best available" and for West Side Story wait. Also Billy Elliot is supposed to be really good from the Mezzanine.

But since you are looking at the two shows that are most likely to be huge hits (BE already seems to be) I wouldn't wait long.

I've also found that often, if you CALL the agent can often find you better seats then online.

West Side Story has quite a large theater to fill, and I predict there will be some sort of discount released within the coming months. I would wait on West Side Story. They will release more tickets, and you can most likely get them for cheaper.

Thanks! I'm having a hard time finding decent seats for BE already. I'll wait on WSS, at least 'til they announce the cast! :)

I doubt either one will be discounted for a good long time.

I disagree, I have a feeling West Side Story will have a discount coming its way...the Palace is quite large.
