Do Lin-Manuel or other cast members have scheduled absences before Feb 15?
#1Do Lin-Manuel or other cast members have scheduled absences before Feb 15?

I would like to see Lin-Manuel Miranda again in In the Heights before he leaves on Feb 15. Does he have any scheduled absences before then? Also, does anyone know if he is missing matinees? I imagine that West Side Story is rehearsing during the day. I was thinking about going on Sat afternoon, but I would go a different time if he's not going to be there.
Also, is anyone in the cast on vacation this week?
Thanks!

Posted: 2/6/09 at 10:59amI saw the show on Wednesday night and everybody was there. I guess that's a good sign, but of course you never know for sure.

Posted: 2/6/09 at 3:16pmNo one has a planned vacation that I know of. I know Janet will be in because she had a vacation last weekend.

Update for everyone:
Full cast in on Sat matinee, except that at least 2 swings were in (I think for Ricky Tripp and Shaun Taylor-Corbett)
Confirmation that Lin-Manuel Miranda is not planning on missing any shows between now and Feb 15.
They have taken away the discounts for this weekend's performances! At least for now, though, they are still honoring the discounts for Tuesday, at least.

Full cast was in on Thursday evening.
The show was very strong still...not as good as when I last saw it a few months ago though. I, like I did the first time I saw the show, was not the biggest fan of Act II. It dragged a lot for some reason this time around. Mandy Gonzalez needs a vacation...her voice sounds like she's straining it too much and I could hear her cracking a little. She's so phenomenally talented and I wouldn't want her to hurt her gorgeous voice. Miranda was wonderful, adding little nuances for his last few performances, and Janet and Andrea just keep getting better and funnier.
I'm assuming there was some kind of field trip because the kids in the rear mezzanine (where I sat) were ridiculously loud. It was funny the first time but when they kept getting louder and louder, it started to take away from the show and pissed a lot of other audience members (including me) off. Theater was pretty full...two empty rows in the mezzanine.
Sorry for the threadjack but if they were all in on last Thursday, I doubt they'll be missing the last few performances with Miranda.

Not sure where to post this question --here or the other thread.
For those of you who went recently, approximately how long is the show? What time did it end? (Am trying to figure out my means of getting home tonight.)
Thanks all for your help.
