Since seeing AVE Q, I constantly use quotes from it, especially when teaching my ADULT classes. There are just do many great quotes in that show.
"no pare sigue, sigue!"
"en washinton heights"
Oh yes. But the funniest (or most embarrassing) is when you don’t realize it. I was playing the game “Apples to Apples” with some people and read the adjective aloud as “Scandalacious” (from Wicked). :silence and weird looks from friends: Then I looked at the card again and saw that it said “Scandalous.” Wow.
Whenever someone says, "that's stupid!" I always have to say:
No it ain't! No it ain't! But you gotta know the territory!

I have a feeling I'll be saying "It's Not Impossible" a lot after tonight.
I keep doing jazz hands to irritate my housemates. They are kinda annoyed cos they hear only show tunes from my itunes 24-7.
Yep. Definitely. I also occasionally sing lines at "my" kids (class I teach) to throw them off when they're going into a fit and stop the fit right there.
I have a tendency for
ending the question
'what's the time' with
'well it's gotta be
close to midnight...'
Me too.

I scream "It's a runaway cart!" in public places at inopportune times.
I once played the mentally challenged Norman in The Boys Next Door. He was always saying, "That's more better." It's become a standard for me. Sometimes good, better, or best just aren't enough choices. "That's more better" says so much more than just better, yet it still may not be best.
My mother went to Costco yesterday, and I immediately broke into the song from Next to Normal.
Also, I use, "Oh, God, what a bitch," a lot.
When I'm auditioning a large group of ppl who come in group by group, I love to say "Fresh Supplies!" in my best Angela Lansbury accent. This is also easily interchangable with "*GASP* A Customer!"
Good times.
Anytime someone says "That's not very nice!" (or any variation thereof) I have to say "I didn't say it was nice, but everybody does it!"

Absolutely! A few of my favorite sorces: Thoroughly Modern Millie, Ave Q, all the Rogers and Hammerstein's, etc., etc., etc.
I quoted Spring Awakening in an essay for an AP test. No kidding.
