During One Day More from Les Miserables? I saw a video of it on a website that cannot be named... and even before the start of the song it had a maror applause... i dont know if its just the show and all of its magnificalness or just hearing the crowd clap out of appriciation... whatever it was it got me crying!
Sammi!
I'm not really a cryer in general, but watching the revival cast do it gave me some definite chills. The sound was so awesome. It was definitely the highlight of that production.
I've seen Les Miz over 50 times but I've never cried during the show.
"A Little Fall of Rain" gets me every time !!!
I cried like a baby during the final Broadway performance of One Day More.
I'm not a huge Les Mis fan, but I'm moved by One Day More. I didn't cry, but I definitely got chills. Incredibly powerful.
I don't cry....I just want more. I wish it wasn't intermission after that song.
I find the entire 2nd half so emotional! And I'm not a softy but it gets to me.
Not One Day More, but Little Fall Of Rain sometimes, and when Gavrosche(sp) dies.

even before the start of the song it had a maror applause ...
I remember the first night of Passover, I would have maror and it would make me cry.
And I knew that when tomorrow comes we would have to do it one day more.
p.s. But what made me cry last night was learning that there are no current plans for a revival cast recording.
[The feeling is that there already exist enough cast recordings.]
pps: And no current plans to readdress the plans after March 7th.

Only if "Meet Joe Black" or "Cocoon" are on.
Tear jerker moments:
- I dreamed a dream
- Little fall of rain
- JVJ's demise and meeting Fantine and Eponine at the end
This show always gets to me. When I saw the new production and the opening started, my eyes teared up just thinking about the show and the power of the music.
I cried during "One Day More" the first time I saw the original production. With the revival, it was seeing Gavroche's body on the barricades...

For some reason I never cried during Les Mis, despite it having a big emotional effect. It was odd.
The first of five times I saw this production I picked up my ticket at will call during the matinee. It was very close to the end of act one of the first preformance and they ahve a montor in the box office. after Igot my ticket I turned around and watched a little of it. I was glad that the guy at the box office realy didn't care that I was watching it there. Anyways, by the time they got to one day more I had a big grin on my face and I couldn't wait for that evening. When I was younger my parents didn't want me to go to broadway shows on my own. Now that I am 17 they don't care. But, it was then that I realized that I was gonna see Les Miz on my own. I personally thought that was very cool.

I loathe, despise, and hate everything in Les Miz with every fiber of my being aside from "One Day More" and it just is brilliant to me.
I bawled like a baby when I saw it in LA, but when I saw it in London, I was so bored that I couldn't wait for it to end. It just sucked there.
Well, I haven't seen LES MIS since 1988 in London and I'd only seen it once before that, in New York the year before. Both times I choked up when Valjean rescued Cosette from the Thenardiers. A very emotional moment for me.

I've never cried, but I most definetly got chills. It's such a powerful song (and show in general), and it always moves me no matter what.
I get chills when everyone gets to the end harmonies, starting at "Tomorrow we'll discover what our God in Heaven has in store."
At least, I usually do. The last tour that came around didn't impress me in the least. They were phoning it in, which was really a shame.
I don't cry at One Day More, but I do get chills when the song starts. My tears generally start in the second half with Little Fall of Rain and by the time Valjean dies, I'm struggling to hold the sobs in. This happened each time I've seen the show in London over the last year.
When I saw the show in NY, however, while I didn't cry at Little Fall fo Rain, I did get choked up a bit; the sobs at the end did come, to the point where the lady sitting on my right asked if I was ok!
I have never understood the eternal fascination for either this show or that song. The physical production is nothing short of brilliant, but this supposedly powerful, utterly emotional score just leaves me cold. It's long and tedious and repetitive. The only reason to cry is the amount of money I've wasted on the tickets.

I second that feeling SeanMartin...just be glad you didn't see it a night when the turntable broke down...
