"Not only do you know little about teaching"
The same can be said for any of you. Actually, I'm a college professor. My father, sister, and aunt are teachers. I know
way more about teaching than you. And there are many teachers/professors on this board, including dramamama.
We'd be
thrilled to clear up any of your misinformation.
And yes, being a bus driver IS obviously boring. Driving to the same locations, picking up people and dropping them off. Every single day. Oh let me guess, you think that's more demanding than being a Broadway performer? I wouldn't even be surprised if any of you think that way. How 'bout a Greyhound bus driver who drives for three or four days
straight cross-country? Or a bus driver who works eight hours a day driving gridlocked city streets?
"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe."
