It's just a handy go-to for the people who keep indulging you to realize that you seem to be incapable of critical thought.
And of course you love it! Negative attention is better than NO attention, right?

" But you really think being a HOUSEKEEPER is less demanding than performing eight shows a week"
It's much more than just 8 shows a week, it's also everything that leads up to that. According to your logic, performing on Broadway is the least demanding of all jobs. I mean, WOW. Is there ANY job that you think is less demanding than performing on Broadway?
Whatever it is you're doing seems to take zero effort.
When did I ever say that Broadway was the least demanding job? And I'm an performer myself, I know exactly what it entails. But in no universe would I say what I do is more demanding then cleaning houses. It's just absolutely ridiculous.
Cleaning houses is just an everyday chore. Like doing your laundry or washing the dishes. It's part of the routine. How is cleaning more demanding? Showiz is no picnic.

Except when you're in Picnic.
Have fun in the real world darling.
This thread is full of Blue's Clues pointing to Sue
^ Definitely. Especially since she has not posted in days.
Sue's Clues?
And yet you add nothing. I come up with good points, and you all come up with nothing. Sure it sucks to clean your house, but long hours of intense, grueling rehearsals and having to be emotionally, mentally, and physically ready to sing, dance and act every single day is very DEMANDING. You mess up the lyrics or forget your lines for a second, and you get replaced. That's not just demanding, that's nerve-wracking. And it's still less demanding than cleaning? CLEANING? Really??
Is firefighting more demanding? Is EMT work more demanding?

Of course Being a Broadway Performer is harder than being a teacher! Common sense people.

How old are you?
What kind of jobs have you held?
What do you do for a living? It better not be as demanding as a Broadway performer.
And I could comment on some occupations you mentioned from experience, but I won't because you don't listen or care.
It's true - I once saw Vanessa Redgrave flub a line in Long Days' Journey Into Night, and guess what? The very next night, Sara Gettelfinger was playing her part.

Well, you know, performers are only human, I can certainly understand an off performance, up to a point. I like to think I can tell the difference between a reliable performer who just seems to be having a bad night or is miscast or something (Raul Esparza in LEAP OF FAITH the night I saw it), and somebody who's just walking through the show because it's a matinee (Nathan Lane in the performance of THE FROGS I had the bad luck to endure -- the single laziest performance I've yet witnessed, he was counting the empty seats and screw him for doing it).
The same can be said for any of you.
Wrong.
And yes, being a bus driver IS obviously boring.
Obvious to anyone who has never ridden a bus in a major metropolitan city.
Oh let me guess, you think that's more demanding than being a Broadway performer? I wouldn't even be surprised if any of you think that way.
I'm not surprised you would make another ignorant assumption.
Cleaning houses is just an everyday chore.
Still not surprised.
Is there ANY job that you think is less demanding than performing on Broadway?
Are you still trying to perpetuate an argument in which you are the only actual participant?
I come up with good points
Well, if you think so, then why bother starting a thread? You make up our thoughts to spur imaginary arguments so you can validate yourself and then pat yourself on the back for being the only one to agree with yourself.
Meanwhile, in the real world...no, you do not come up with good points.
I like her argument went from "you people don't know about teaching!" to "you people are teachers so you're biased!"

The answer is simple: yes. If you are dead ill or broken limb, or death in family - yes. Otherwise, step aside please someone will be happy, happy, happy to take the place.
I'm sure you enjoy dissecting every little thing I say and turn it against me, especially something so harmless like "cleaning is an everyday chore" which is true, actually. But I guess that's an ignorant assumption too, right?
I was never looking for arguments. You guys are just incredibly uptight over the fact that I don't agree with you, so you resort to name-calling like "oh how moronic". And when I keep saying that I disagree and provide reasons as to why I disagree, you claim that I'm a "troll". I came with a conclusion that you guys just can't stand the fact that someone here thinks that being a Broadway performer is tougher/harder than being a teacher or a babysitter, so you all attack me with childish, taunting humor.
But of course, this is something that I should have expected from people like you. I remember when I first joined here. I was a newbie who just asked my first innocent question, and then I suddenly get a cold, sarcastic response for no reason.
People outside of this message board have told me "Don't go there, people there are really rude, pretentious, arrogant and snobby" and I responded with "Oh come on, they can't be that bad.".......
If you hate it so much then why do you still post here? Is posting here more or less demanding than being a Broadway actress?
Come on Sue, your repetoire is really, really weak.
