When hearing her sing live on TV, she sounds pitchy etc.
I just can't see her singing Lovett.

I think she'd be great.
And ljay - don't use the word "pitchy." It's a word that was made up by American Idol. Say she's sharp or flat, or she's off-pitch.

Posted: 11/25/05 at 10:38pmI agree with rath. I was actually pulling for her to be playing Lovett in the revival and wasn't too enthused about LuPone (until I saw her remarkable performance). I hope Lauper'll play the role at one point.
