They say it will be back next summer--but with the horrible ticket sales, do you really think they'll bring it back? Perhaps it should play in smaller theaters. The Music Hall in Dallas has over 3,000 seats--and every performance I was at (except the last show) had less than half the seats filled.
I really do hope they bring it back--but do you all think it really will be back next summer? I wouldn't be surprised if they cancelled it. They just need to play in smaller theaters.

Posted: 8/12/06 at 8:04amIf Brooklyn tours again, it will probably not be with the same cast. In the eight times I saw Brooklyn, I would say the average audience was about 1,500 people. That is a lot more than you can stuff into a Broadway theater. A smaller venue probably would be better but the cast loved the outdoor theater in Houston.

Posted: 8/12/06 at 12:18pmIt's hard to say, I just booked 2nd row for the matinee today. Show is 5 hours from now and I Paid $36.50 total for 2 seats. Doesen't seem to be doing too well.

Posted: 8/12/06 at 2:48pmI think they should just get rid of it for now. Then, just bring it back to workshop and try to just refiguret the whole show keeping some of the songs, but just maing it beter. Then, bring it back. Because its disgusting plot wise and some songs are not worth while.
