..since Whistle talk is dying down I figure I should just start a new topic - and what better way to do so then to obnoxiously question someone's grammar :P!

But, at the first Whistle Performance (8th/Apr) did anyone notice that Murphy's "then they're cookies" in the cookie chase sounded a lot like "than they're cookies"? Maybe it was her accent though, but it seemed pretty strong to me.

This may seem extremely unimportant but I have been thinking about it more than once, so..I thought I needed to say something.

kthx

That was a direct quote from the original post.

Oh right, how funny. HAHA.

I realise my hypocrisy, and I won't edit my post because it is pretty funny mistake :P.

(I hope that you guys believe me when I say it was a typo and I AM aware of the difference, LOL)

No, Donna Murphy doesn't know the difference between "then" and "than".

In fact, Donna Murphy cannot read. It's her secret shame.

And when you ask for her autograph at the stage door, she signs her name with an X

"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe." -John Guare, Landscape of the Body
