besides the onstage gay sex and the multiple lines of coke done... I don't think so.
Um... What's The Drowsey Chaperone? Is that different from The Drowsy Chaperone?
I really think Rent would be more appropriate and uplifting. It's all about surviving the difficulties in life (together!) and focusing on happiness and harmony!
Forget Drowsy Chaperone go see Spring Awakening it sounds beautiful.
Or Avenue Q. I personally have always wondered what the Baptist church's views are when it comes to the topic of puppet sex.
The "Drowsey" Chaperone IS A RAGING DRUNK.
That'll go over great with Baptistgirl.
I remember directing a production of "South Pacific." The young girl playing one of Emile de Becque's children invited the nuns from her Catholic school to the show. They were in the front row on opening night and every time Bloody Mary screamed "Stingy Bastards!" they all crossed themselves vigorously. The third time they did it, Bloody Mary couldn't get the words out as she and all the cast could see the nuns getting ready for another novena and it killed the show for at least two minutes while the cast practically peed their pants in laughter.
Where's the bar?!
as a christian, and a broadway lover, i would be happy to go to ANY broadway show on a date, that is so fricken nice!! if she is offended by anything, at least you tried to do something really nice for her, don't be too worried about it
