Does Julia Murney usually do 8 shows a week? — Page 2

Just a note about what is going on with the tour right now. Julia was out all week, she was really sick. Maria and Victoria were both sick as well, but they alternated all week. I don't know who was on when, except that Maria was Elphaba on Wednesday and Victoria was Elphaba for both shows on Sunday (Maria was supposed to be on but she wasn't feeling up to it vocally). Victoria also didn't fly again at the Sunday matinee. They're basically alternating the girls based on who is the least sick. Kendra was out for both shows on Sunday too, but I think that she only does 6 shows a week.

Not to start a new topic, but from the clips i've seen of Julia, she doesnt seem like the best Elphaba, but those were at the beginning of her run and I have a feeling she's grown already. How good is she???

I saw her within the first month of playing the role and she was wonderful both in her acting and singing. She didn't seem new to it at all.

I saw Maria in Cincinnati. Don't worry, she's great!

With Julia, it's not about how she sings the role, it's how she acts the role. She's simply amazing.

(She sings it excellently, as well.)

At the moment, if Julia is not back, it depends on how Maria and Victoria are feeling.
