Does anyone know who is directing Grand Hotel at Encores?

The Encores season looks pretty well set and though I know some are less enthused I for one am looking forward to it. 

But I'm curious- the Hey Look Me Over concert which seems pretty much fleshed out is directed by Marc Bruni and choreographed by Denis Jones.  Me and My Girl, which isn't til May, already says it's directed and choreogaphed by Warren Carylyle.

Yet Grand Hotel, with a performance date less than 3 months away, both on the website and on the posters outside City Center, only says "Music Director Rob Berman".

Does anyone know what's going on with this?  Often, if not usually, the directors for all 3 shows are announced the summer before, or certainly by this time right before the season starts.  Or has it been announced elsewhere and I just somehow missed it?

I was looking at the Casting Notice today, and still has no one listed as Dir/Chore.

 

Maybe it's Tommy Tune and they can't announce it yet!

Tommy Tune famously doesn't like to look back (he's one of those "you can't go home again" types_. I'd wager they are either trying to find someone who will create something so different and unique that it stands on its own (heh, good luck with that), someone from the original company who remembers it well enough to make this look good, or they're trying as a last-ditch possibility to convince him.

Tommy Tune just directed / supervised a revival of his original staging in Japan. So it’s not exactly true that he “never looks back”— hopefully his original staging will be presented whether he directs the Encores staging or not.

True. I remember in the "Broadway: the Golden Age" documentary, Tommy Tune said something like "Broadway shouldn't be filled with revivals because it stunts the growth and room for new shows to grow". Which I always found funny, seeing as he did Grease, Bye Bye Birdie, etc.

I spoke too soon earlier; a cursory search of Japanese papers reveals that while Tune did stage the original Takarazuka production of Grand Hotel in 1993, the current run was an all-new production by Thom Southerland. So I guess we'll have to wait and see about Encores.
