Doubt in Chicago!

No, I am not talking about Rex Grossman.

Sueleen, SM2, Matt, Joe, WCA please see this show.

Cherry Jones is brilliant! My god, I did a play in Kindergarten and since then I have loved the theater and her performance is one if the best I have seen. I loved this character! She draws a moral line and does not cross it.

McGarry, Joyce and Clay are EXCELLENT.

The BWW elite in NY has seen this, we now have this opportunity to see a treasure!

It was fantastic. Really, I can't find any other way to describe it. It was one wonderful night at the theatre. A Chicago critic put it best when he said something like: a show like this comes through the city as often as a bald eagle goes through the turnstiles of the CTA.

I've got my ticket for February 24th when it comes to the Fox in St. Louis. Really looking forward to seeing it.
The Overture is part of the show, people. Please shut your pie hole.

re: Doubt in Chicago!

I saw it last week and the whole show was fantastic. I also got to meet Cherry after the show, and talked to her for a while. She is a very sweet lady.
"If this is going to be a Christian nation that doesn't help the poor, either we have to pretend that Jesus was just as selfish as we are, or we've got to acknowledge that He commanded us to love the poor and serve the needy without condition and then admit that we just don't want to do it." -Stephen Colbert

re: Doubt in Chicago!

I'm planning on seeing the show in Boston next month. I fell in love with the show last year (a year ago tomorrow) and I can't wait to see Cherry Jones as Sr. Aloysius.

I was thinking about going this week. Was the theater full when you guys saw it? How are the balcony seats?

re: Doubt in Chicago!

And I also got a good laugh from the Grossman reference!

re: Doubt in Chicago!

The dress circle was not full when I saw it (Thursday night), and the seats were not bad at all.

re: Doubt in Chicago!

Would love to see this touring company. A friend of mine is in the cast and would be great to her.

Where is the stage door for the LaSalle Theatre?

re: Doubt in Chicago!

If you are facing the theatre it is in the alley on the left hand side. The door is labeled.

re: Doubt in Chicago!

Oook, I wasn't sure if they changed it since the renovation.

re: Doubt in Chicago!

During Annie the cast came out through the lobby, so I am not sure of the stage door.

pab, your friend is talented because all the actors were excellent.

Oh, and yes the Bears won. I bet the even Wicked will be affected by the game next Sunday. It might be a good day to do the lottery.

re: Doubt in Chicago!

Doubt is supposed to be here in DC in mid-March and individual tickets still have yet to go on sale.

In any case, I missed this on Broadway and definitely plan to see it. I am glad to hear the tour is in good shape.
