Down With Love a la Audra McDonald...Sheet music??

Does anyone know of how or where I can get a copy of the version of Arlen's "Down with Love" that Audra McDOnald does on the Broadway Leading Ladies dvd?

I am extremely interested in doing it.

And any information on the show it's from "Hooray for What?" would ALSO be helpful!

That version she did was first done by Barbra Streisand on one of her early TV Specials. If I remember which one I'll let you know. That might help in tracking down music for it?

i don't actually know if the sheet music for it in that specific form is in print (at least for purchase).

All the people I know that have performed it have transcribed it (and usually from Bab's original recording).

The sheet music for the song Down With Love in it's original form shouldn't be too hard to find, then it's juat a matter of peicing it together with all the musical quotes from other songs/musicals.

The song itself is available in a Harold Arlen songbook and pretty easily available. If you need it in that key/arrangement, you're going to have to have it transcribed. I seriously doubt that it's published.

Barbra sang her arrangement of Down with Love on the Judy Garland show in 1964 (the same episode that featured Judy, Ethel Merman, and Barbra singing "There no Business).

Barbra also recorded this on "The Second Barbra Streisand Album."

It is far superior to Audra's.
