re: Dracula: The Musical

And of course, sometimes people just like to wear their prom dress.

that's right - got something that cost some bucks & you only get to where it once... why not? where it to a show!

unlike our favorite women of 'SATC', most of us don't have the pleasure to wear our outfits just once
I'm unlimited, I am wicked through and through...

re: Dracula: The Musical

Dance of the Vampires was a good musical until the Americans wrecked it. They turned a gorgeous gothic opera, a serious and frightening and subtle masterpiece, into a farcical cesspool. Michael Crawford should be crucified!

re: Dracula: The Musical

It was funny though, because Michael Crawford was going to make his comeback to Broadway and the show bombed.

re: Dracula: The Musical

It bombed because Mikey Boy sabotaged Steinman's score! It was all HIS fault! And now Steinman is doomed, and Crawford's in Woman in White! You call that FAIR?!? I DEMAND JUSTICE!!!

re: Dracula: The Musical

I saw Dracula when it was out here in La Jolla and as Frank said, he was going for a more classical tone rather than his somewhat 80's show-stopping sound...he did it, which made me not like it so much. It's a bit boring and not one tune stayed in my head. I'm not sure how much he's changed since then (it has been a couple of years), but that first version needed some more oomph! to it.

Yet, I love Frank and Linda so I wish them the best of luck and I'm dying for Camille to get on Broadway...what's taking so long?

"The Heart is Slow to Learn" is awesome. I especially like the part where she says ...the heart is slow to learn. It never learns from its mistakes which is why it always breaks... re: Dracula: The Musical *heartbreaking*
