What are the possibilites?
And what are the chances of scoring Hudson to star in it?
*I can dream*

Hudson would get it in an instant, but I don't think that's a career move that she's planning on making, I'm thinking she's more into doing films at the moment...I hope she does it though :)

Search feature works. A
miracle for those who use

Not the best haiku in the world, but it works.
Jennifer Hudson will not be reprising Effie for any upcoming Broadway revival of DREAMGIRLS. Professionally she is progressing forward (not backwards like Jennifer Holliday). Next up on her career is her upcoming solo album, and future film work. Her people are wise to keep her away from anything and everything DREAMGIRLS related. She did the film-version; won the Oscar for it; now it's onto OTHER things. Smart girl with equally smart people.
As much as I would kill to see it, it will never happen.
...until she's a washed-up half-crazed has been singing on the roof across the street of the next Dreamgirls revival 25 years from now, with her Oscar in a glass class by her side.
they should kick up a another tour-america loved Dreamgirls-so a tour who make a killing-possibly add the songs they added in the movie to the tour?

U know wut? That's right. Jennifer Holliday is GONE. J-Hud is in and she is progressing and moving foward in her career, like u had mentioned.

The Bennett estate will NOT allow that to happen. Kreiger also said he would not change the stage version without the approval of the original creative team, and since Bennett and Eyer are not here anymore, that probably means it won't happen.
