Posted: 2/14/09 at 9:23am^ Highly doubtful. Beyoncé, while a good singer and dancer (and I thought a decent actress), probably doesn't have the stamina and desire to do 8 shows a week. And, for Hudson's carrer, doing Effie again wouldn't be a good idea. She does NOT want to get stuck in the Jennifer Holliday mold forever.

I would doubt any of the film's cast would be in this. They've "been there, done that." And they're all busy working anyway.
And as far as Beyonce or Jennifer? Why not Streisand or George Clooney. Come on.
