There really aren't any words to describe this show, except to say after tonight's wildly brilliant performance at 54 Below this show needs to take its rightful place next to the greats. Move over Oklahoma, Follies, Sunday in the Park and Dolly. Rachael Lily Rosenbloom has dethroned you all. I think it's fair to say that we've never seen a character quite like this on the musical theater stage before.
The actors tonight were terrific; Bonnie Milligan as Rachael was sensational beyond belief. Everyone was basically off book and the production numbers somehow had choreography on that tiny stage.
There were so cuts to the score and some rearranging of the book, all I assume for the sake of squeezing it into a 90 minute program (Last Dance was added for a finale).
There is no bottom to the depth of my gratitude for the people who put this evening together. It was truly a dream realized.
I love him, because he's, I don't know, because he's just my fish. What a dish!
Jehovah? Buddha? Allah? God? ANYONE?!?! The first person to answer gets 10% of my nightclub act!
Glinda: It's a land of opportunity. Of Beauty. Of Glamour. Do you know where I'm talking about?
Rachael: Jackson Heights?
There are only three things of importance in this world: fame, fortune and good fvck.

I had hoped to attend tonight. Alas, the snowstorm played havoc with work schedule. Sigh

I'm surprised they could find all the sheet music.
From what I gather often times they create their own sheet music from not-so-commercial or legal recordings.

Didn't they have the help of Jabara's sister? I thought I read that...

The Feinstein's/54 Below youtube channel has uploaded what I assume are most if not all of the songs. Does anyone who saw the show mind providing some information on the plot so there will be some context for the songs?

It won't help. The plot made no sense. I'm not sure I could explain it even if I wanted to. Just enjoy the performances.
