Drood seating

Posted: 10/21/12 at 7:55pmSo I have tickets to see The Mystery of Edwin Drood and I could not be more excited about this! My tickets are Row N 9,11,13, and 15. How are these seats in this theatre? I have only been there once in the Rear Mezz for Harvey. I hope these seats are good. I also have a very tall friend coming along with me and I was wondering how the leg room is. Thanks guys!

My friend and I had seats in L 9 and 11 last night and I thought the view was great. There might be a couple times small stuff gets cut off for those in 13 and 15, but it's none of the major action. I'm also pretty tall and I didn't think the seats were that uncomfortable in terms of leg room. Plus, I think most tall people are just used to having no leg room, so your friend probably won't notice either.
Anyone know where the student rush seats are? Mezz? I thought I saw some younger people sitting in the front row last night and thought they might be putting some people there.

I sat in the middle mezzanine (the $10 tickets), and I really didn't think the leg room was bad at all. I had expected to be extremely cramped, and I was pleasantly surprised. (Try sitting in the mezz for Peter and the Starcatcher. Now, that was painful!) At the Drood performance I attended today (the matinee), the front part of the mezzanine had lots of empty seats. So right before the show started, the ushers moved people from the rear of the mezzanine down to the front. So maybe you saw the Hiptix young people in better seats than what they originally had.
