Thanks, Zan!
I live in westchester, new york (just north of the city.)
Here has been my experience looking for the CD:
The Barnes and Noble in my building, in White Plains, had 2 copies, but sold them. The Border's down the block has 8 copies, but can't sell them, because they didn't get the memo that they could sell them. The Barne's and Noble in Yonkers and Hartsdale doesn't have it in Stock. The FYE in White Plains basically gave me dirty looks, like "wtf...we have no clue what this Drowsy Chaperone is."
I loved it when the girl on the phone in Yonkers said "Is that S-H-A-P-E-R-O-N-E."
ARGH, so basically, no-where in Westchester County has the CD....and I am not shlepping to NYC to get it tonight, in the rain...lol

When I called on the phone the girl was like, "The Drowsy Chaperone... is that the name of a band?"

fyi -- if you're in Chicago, the Tower Records on Clark Street has the cd -- on sale for $13.99.
How is that I can't get out of that store without spending $50???
This morning we forced (not really, just asked) them to look all over. It was no where, the shelves, the cart. They never unpacked them and they had 10, now they have 8.

I just got the CD at Tower for 13.99. It seems that all Tower stores have the CD.

I had the same problem with the man I asked at Virgin. He had me spell out "Drowsy" and then gave me two release dates.
I just went ahead and got it off Amazon - probably easier in the end!
Anybody get it on the west coast yet? I'm going to check it out tomorrow and I hope it's there. I'm going on a two week trip to Greece on Saturday and I NEED to have it by then.

Hooray, mine just shipped! Hopefully it won't take too long to get to California!
All Sh-K-preorders are filled and waiting to be picked up by Mr. Mailman so you should all be getting them soon.

Sh-K-Boom does such great work with their CDs.
Not just recording shows, but recording them well.
Sounds Great!
