since TKTS sells tickets they couldn't sell regular price otherwise, they are going to be all over the theatre.

Everyone but Sutton and Georgia. However, Sutton is extremely nice and will sign autographs before the show.

I thought Drowsy Chaperone has been selling out recently, and not on TKTS?

Yeah, Drowsy hasn't been on TKTS recently...

Sutton gets there at noon, for matinee days.

"Sutton gets there at noon, for matinee days."

Has this happened more than one time? I would go there at 12:00 but I don't want to get there and her already have gone in or not go in until 1:30...

SweetQ - I'm always in that vicinity at around noonish and always see her passing through Shubert Alley.

Yankee- ok, I'm going in mid August to see Drowsy so I guess I'll just have to hang around at 12:00...haha.

And she's ok with signing and pictures before the show?

This is going to sound really horrible but, Shubert Alley is like the stage door- right?

No its behind the pillar to the right when you walk out of the Marquis hotel. Shubert Alley is across the street.

Wait- I'm confused...
What is behind the pillar to the right when you walk out of the Marquis hotel?? The Drowsy stage door?

Shubert alley is somewhere different?

YES shubert alley is where Spamalot and Faith HEaler are playing. The Marquis is across the street. If you walk out of Shubert Alley and make a right towards times square on the left there willl be a few pillars with Drowsy adds on them, the stage door is behind the last pillar.

But Yankee said that he sees her in Shubert Alley.

What is Shubert Alley? A place to hang out? *confused*

Shubert Alley is a crosswalk that connects 45th street to 44th. Traditionally, many streets along broadway used to have them but over time, they were built over leaving Shubert Alley to be pretty historic(in my books). Events such as Broadway Barks and Stars in the Alley takes place there. Along with the Shubert Theater, Shubert Alley is my favorite part of the theater district. No matter what show I am going to above 44th, I always pass threw it as a homage to all broadway performers.(Granted this is all very cheesy but hey, I have high respect for Broadway performers!)

So Georgia never comes out after matinees? I wanted her to sign my "Mary Tyler Moore" DVD. Does she ever come out before?

Drowsy hasn't been on TKTS since the Tony nominations were announced on May 16th, so your best bet would be the lottery.

Your best bet if you want to meet Sutton, is to come before the show (I am planning to do that tommorow before the Matinee, I am just a little bummed I probably won't get a picture with her now.). I was there last night, and she did not come out. The stage door manager said she only comes out of the stage door after Tuesday performances(Though I am not sure if this is the truth or not).

Not on TKTS.

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

for lotto, do you have to arrive 2 and half hours early then names are called 2 hours before show?

Considering I'm seeing it on a Tuesday night, that is excellent news! re: Drowsy Chaperone TKTS
