I do love that Busch, but miss the wild manic energy of those first several Theatre-in-Limbo plays. His work from the last ten years is still excellent, but lacks the visceral power of those downtown extravaganzas.
The late Meghan Robinson was a stunning actress, with a rare power on stage. Charles' best performances were opposite her, she really challenged him to be his best. It's difficult to find an actor who can go so far out on a limb so successfully as Robinson could. Kenneth Elliott was also the best director of his work; I wonder why they have parted ways.
Im just getting to know him at the moment through chatting with him as we are trying to sort out the rights to produce either Psycho Beach Party or Die Mommie Die for the first time here in the UK. Hes such a nice guy, sweet, funny and charming
Namo i love u but we get it already....you don't like Madonna
Listening to the interview he comes across as very sweet, humble and down-to-earth. I remember passing by the theater where VAMPIRE LESBIANS was playing and wondering to myself what it was all about.
