As the title states, which shows are currently the easiest to rush? As in showing up around box office opening time without much waiting? Trying to find some cheap tickets for the weekend and wasn't sure what was my best bet for my mother and I. Thanks!
I found waitress to be an easy rush. I saw it while Jason Mraz was in it and figured the rush would be crazy, but I got tickets immediately when I got there with no problems. I would imagine it’s even easier without someone like Jason Mraz in it. Also come from away is amazing and depending on the day (especially if it’s a two show day) I would say you could maybe get tickets for it. A lot of times I hear it being hard to get tickets, but I’ve walked up to the box office many times asking for tickets and have pretty much always been able to get something. Would recommend standing room for that show, it’s an amazing view. I’ve heard rush tickets are mostly partial view - though not 100% cause I usually stand.
American Son has been playing to lighter houses, and they're not shy about selling rush up until curtain. $40.
I got front row center, which was on sale for $250 on telecharge (lol). Was worried it would be too close or the stage too high, but ended up being great for this particular show.
Apparently I was one of the only (if not THE only) rushers that day. I got Left orchestra Q-1 (aisle seat) for $42, and many people were moved from the mezzanine to the rear orchestra to fill seats through the show
