I normally don't care for her, but that was wonderful! Thanks for posting that.
She totally butchers the song.
God, that song should be banned or something
I don't like it. A song is written in a certain way for a reason. You can't even tell that she's singing "Somewhere over the rainbow" unless you listen to the words. She played around with the notes and timing too much.
I love her voice. This is really nice.

guys give her a break. If it was say Sutton Foster doing that you prolly wouldnt be complaining. Sure...she did do a few riffs to many, but I think it was okay. Its not the best version I've heard, but certainly not the worst.
Actually, if it were anyone I would be complaining. I would complain if Angela Lansbury sang the song like that. There was not one point during the song where a given melodic phrase actually sounded the way it was written. The quality of her voice is fine, but the rendition of the song is dreadful. Judy would be rolling over in her grave.
Yeah she tried way too hard to make the song "her own".
Sorry to say Eden but the song isn't yours. Her voice is beautiful though.

She was doing the Eva Cassidy version of the song. She sounds gorgeous! In general, though, I agree that this is a song that gets "changed up a little" excessively a lot.

I hate it when people say they are "doing so-and-so's version" of a song. Do the song. If you rip off someone else's interpretation that just makes you a rip-off artist, or impersonator. Or a Harry Connick, Jr.
It was nice. It seems as if she wasn't totally comfortable with the arrangement and a few notes were a bit jarring. She s eemed to just drop the last note and the vocal "outburst" with the higher not really wasn't needed. But I enjoy different versions of this song. Patti LaBelle's being one of my favorites.
