Did you see the title of the thread? Spanish, Jewish, BOTH, or Neither. Besides, we now know that she is Mexican, with probably some Spanish ancestry. I did think it was either-or, but now I know it is neither. It is rare to find a Spanish Jew in the U.S. today, that recognizes their Jewishness as well as their Spanish ancestry. Most recognize their Jewishness, and some who have Spanish-Jewish ancestry, have ancestors who converted to Catholicism, and therefore recognize their Spanish ancestry.
Why is everyone assuming that her ethnicity matters at all? Sometimes its okay to just be curious for the sake of being curious.
