So, anyone who went to the Broadway Flea Market last year remembered the fun of having a New York City Street Fair right next door on 8th Avenue which caused the already packed market to be even more crowded. Well, it's happening again this year:

Sunday September 21st
Eighth Avenue Fall Festival
(on 8th Avenue from 42nd - 57th St.)
Still haven't decided if I am happy about this. Just means I have to get there earlier this time.
Thanks!

Oh geez. It happened once - they had to let it happen again. Something is wrong with the city scheduling. There was a street fair right by radio city on the night of the Tonys! Not the best planning ever.

Do you know what time they close the streets on 8th ave?
Makes traffic getting into the city a Bi*ch!
On the plus side, you don't have to go far for food... :P

Only if u enjoy meat-like products on a stick, jordangirl. And yes, I know how easily that can be turned into a sexual reference.
Oh I had a good funnel cake there last year. (Well, they called it something different, but it was a funnel cake.)
Is there a street fair on 7th on the 20th?
Outstanding - We see Gypsy that afternoon.
Great, getting to 45th Street is going to be a bit annoying because I refuse to attempt to walk through Shubert Alley considering where the photo booth has been located the past few years.

It wasn't bad at all last year.
Try comparing it to Times Square from December 23-January 6.
Didn't really bother me last year. We went to both.
