Dear SomeoneInATree2: Thank you for setting up the framework and inspiring me to do my post-theory theoretical analysis of that joke. I really should have retired from writing after I posted that because I would never reach such a level of giddiness again.
The only thing I left out was how right you are about anything that might have come after "Well!" would have been hilarious.

I have to say, if it WAS “one legged prostitute,” it would take the joke from being merely funny to brilliant.
