"Jenna Elfman has postponed her Broadway debut in the hit musical "Nine" indefinitely, and while the official word is that she needs more "rehearsal time," the unofficial word is that she's been given the hook and is looking for a way to make a graceful exit."

If Elfman is really out of Nine, bad for her.
Broadway.com's Paul Wontorek who saw Sara Gettelfinger yesterday thinks she's the girl for the role.
I would agree, why not giving Gettelfinger the chance?

Posted: 10/8/03 at 5:09pmI actually think Jessica Simpson would be absolutely perfect. She can sing the songs, believe me- and she's gorgeous. On the toher hand, I have heard Gettelfinger, and I agree- she should be given a chance.
