Since the revival of MY FAIR LADY is currently casting in NYC, I think the Producers would be foolish to not consider Phillipa as Eliza. She is age appropriate, has the voice (from what I've heard of it), has the perfect "look" (IMO) and is an Actress with the goods to make this role her own and is at a great place in her career to skyrocket in this show.
This is all my opinion , of course, but C'mon.

I've been saying that casting Phillipa Soo as Eliza Doolittle would be absolutely perfect for months now. I will happily meet with any and every casting director/producer/whoever to explain why.

Perhaps you could start by explaining why on here, since I vehemently disagree...

Didn't someone say Sher isn't going to give out offers, but is auditioning Eliza? It would be interesting if it ended up being Benanti and Soo fighting it out for the role.

I'd love to see her play it, but I have yet t ok she her break out of her poised demeanor. She'd be perfect for the post transformation Eliza, but she may struggle with the cockney flower girl. Anyways I hope she auditions.
I'm still Benanti or bust, however. She's just far too perfect in every single way.

Not only is Soo's voice absolutely killer (and she would look stunning in the role, too), she's already played transformation so well. Think about the evolution of her Natasha from bright, doe-eyed ingenue to desolate and introspective. The arc of her Eliza Hamilton: from shy and sweet to empowered and independent. Her Amélie showed that she undoubtedly has comic chops, too.
I think Eliza Doolittle would be the perfect opportunity for her to culminate so many of the vocal and acting skills she's displayed during her career so far. She's showed us three times that she can carry a show on her shoulders, and I think this role and this casting would work on so many levels.

Summer Strallen. She can act. She can sing. She can dance. She's beautiful. Plus, she's English (so she has the accent down pat).

I'm still trying to figure out what is so appealing about Soo. Whatever spell she has cast did not capture me. Don't get me wrong, I don't dislike her but there's nothing exciting about her either. Soo is what I like to think of as a jack of all trades but a master of none. She will never do a disservice to a role but I can't see her transcending a role either.
I'd rather an unknown play Eliza. This role is a great 'a star is born' opportunity.

She was my least favorite performance in Hamilton. I also took my mother and her friend to Hamilton, and knowing nothing about the performers, they praised everyone but Soo. My mom's friend even went on to say she sounded 'whiny'. I wouldn't take it that far because I believe she has a very nice voice; but she was far from a standout amongst her peers let alone transcendent, in my opinion.

I actually agree with FlySkyHigh's family, I found her rather whiny in Hamilton. Of course, I preferred a lot of the replacements to the original cast of Hamilton but Phillipa was by far my least favorite. I also preferred Samantha Barks to her in Amelie from what I saw. I also agree that a newcomer might be the best for this role. It jump started Julie Andrews's career, why not someone else?

Soo gave my favorite performance in Hamilton (closely followed by Odom Jr) and considering her role was relatively underwritten in comparison to others, that's something. Obviously it's pointless debating as different performances speak to different people and unless you're a Cynthia Erivo in TCP or Ben Platt in DEH, a performance is unlikely to be universally adored.
I never got to see her Natasha and I don't think many people here did but from what I've heard from those that have, she was exceptional in that role.
Also thought Samantha Barks was pretty dire in Amélie, but I think she's a bad actress in general. Can only play one type of part and you would never have known from watching her that Amélie is meant to be quirky and introverted. It was just like watching her Éponine if she'd been born in the 1970s.

Yup. Benanti or Soo would probably be fine, but Lauren Worsham is so perfectly suited for it. Her comedic chops were on full display in Gentleman's Guide, and not only does she have a gorgeous soprano, she sings in a rock band, so I'm sure she could avoid the vocal stress this role can give to the performer. The prospect of this revival doesn't really exite me much, but if they cast her I'd be considerably more interested.
