Elphaba/Idina doll — Page 2

I think they're kick ass, then again I have collected dolls from a young age. Blame my mother and my costume designing passion. I have the Velma Toner doll based on the Chicago movie.

most tonner faces look alike, but i've never seen such a short, round jaw as on the Glinda, and such cheekbones as on the Elph. I don't think its as accident.

Yeah I have a feeling that these dolls are based off the movie version of Wizard of Oz. Though the Glinda doll does have Kristin's face, the hair and costume definitly point towards the movie. The Elphaba doll isnt actually as horrifying as I thought when I saw the title of this thread (i was imagining a pre-teen barbie doll type deal with waaay too much green glitter) since these seem more like collector dolls. The fur outfit of hers is rather interesting.

Well, the Elphaba doll doesn't resemble Idina, but the Glinda doll looks a little bit lik Cheno. However, as others said, the hair and costume is definitely Billie Burke....
