The fact that someone, a student none the less could go and land one of the most vocally challenging principle roles in not only Broadway history, but of female parts a lone amazes me.

Oh, but she didn't, she's only doing Wicked.

It's not closing anytime soon as far as I know.

It closes in July. If Donna doesn't close it, Alyssa won't have that much time in the role.

It does not "close" in July. I'm pretty sure that they just have not announced more dates.
