Well, this could seriously be a Producers/Monty year, where every male is from one of those two shows, pretty much.
I see it very possibly becoming:
David Hyde Pierce.
Tim Curry
Hank Azaria (although, billed above the title, they might push for a Featured nom)
Norbert Leo Butz
John Lithgow (who would never NOT get a nomination).
That does, unfortunately, leave Raul in the cold.

SOS! Quick, someone hand him a sweater!!!
EDIT- It's just so funny. Of all the musicals, he picked that one. I've seen the London production, and it is definately candy-coated and sweet. But, it has it's endearing moments and he is going to sing the hell out of Hushabye Mountain.

And there's always the possibility of Marc Kudisch being added to the mix - okay Emcee - we're up to the gallon sized ice cream :)

Who's Marc playing? Featured role, I thought.
Quick, ice cream for me and sweater for Raul!

The Baron will definately be a "featured" character. And I think the Childcatcher who still remains a mystery would be considered feature as well.

Two words..."Euan Morton".
Another two words..."Not happening."
Gee, it sure would be great though.

I saw DIRTY ROTTEN last night and enjoyed it very, very much. I can't say enough about the acting team of Lithgow and Butz. Wow!!!! The two of them will earn their places as Broadway legends with this show!
My only complaint about the show is that it takes half of the first act to establish its TONE. Is it a farce? Is it slapstick? Is it a straight-book musical? Once the tone is finally set, the show becomes extremely enjoyable and hilarious in places. Yazbeck's music is as quirkly as it was in THE FULL MONTY, but his lyrics for DIRTY ROTTEN surpass his previous work.

Was Norbert nominated for Thou Shalt Not?
Yep. His only Tony nod to date.
I'm thinking I need to buy my ticket to this show as soon as I get my tax returns back.
I refuse to miss out on it.

Yeah, I too may end up going this year! Especially if it's going to be my only chance of watching them. I will not miss this years show.

Agree with Thirdrow... We didnt care much for the Producers either (have to add that we did NOT see Lane/Broderick)
That being said... its the book that counts, and found DRS to be much funnier !! Saw it 2x so far, and will be going back !!!
Totally enjoyable show !!!
