Empire State : Lion King Yellow

Does anyone have any photos of the Empire State Building being lit yellow for the show's 10th anniversary?

I thought Disney and some people on this board would have made a bigger deal out of this.
Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist. Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino. This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more. Tazber's: Reply to Is Stephen Schwartz a Practicing Christian

Apparently, it was not very well publicized, so I don't think many people knew or cared.
A little known fact is that in the original screenplay, Pan's Labyrinth was Pan's FLAByrinth. Hmmmmmmm...glad they changed it.

I found two on the first page of google images...
Since the anniversary is tomorrow, and it says that the building won't be lit until tomorrow for Lion King... would there be pictures yet? and since it probably won't be playing tomorrow, will they still light it?

anyway... here are two pictures I found of the building yellow from this weekend.

It looks good, but Lion King has it's own shade of yellow?

Yes. If you look on a dulux color chart now, there's Lion King Yellow.

mateo, I love the pics! They so eerie, very War of the Worlds, for some reason...

Sunday night is supposed to be the 10th Anniversary performance. Guess that won't be happening?

I've seen the Empire State Building lit up in yellow several times in the past, long before the Lion King anniversary. I'm confused as to why this is so special now. Maybe it's just coincidence!

Great pic mateo, thank you!

Kind of sucks that the 10th anniversary was suppose to be tomorrow. I wonder what they are going to do now.

SNLMedia....its a big deal because it is the first musical EVER to be recognized by the empire state building. Kind of a big deal if you ask me considering it is one of the symbols of NYC.

Wow, I had no idea. I looked at the Empire State Building, wondered why it was yellow, and then kept walking.
