Posted: 3/5/09 at 8:39pmWill the Longacre/Cort(after Will Farrell closes) remain empty this spring, or will they get shows in time for the Tony cut off? Just curious.

Posted: 3/6/09 at 1:56amDo you think MINSKI'S may try to make it into New York by late spring? Maybe a few more shows that aren't on the radar screen yet might come in unexpectedly? We can hope. Not easy but let's hope anyway. Who knows?

While anything is possible....I'm thinking we've heard of whatever is opening in Time for Tony nods.
SO hard to believe the "season" is coming to a close. Not a stellar one, certainly.

April 30
And in the week prior, there are shows opening:
April 23 (The Norman Conquests)
April 26 (The Philanthropist)
April 27 (Desire Under the Elms)
April 29 (Accent on Youth)
April 30 (9 to 5, Waiting for Godot)
So if a show wanted to open in the days just before the Tony cut-off, only April 28 appears to be available (though it was slated as the date that Robin Williams' show was opening at the Neil Simon ... cannot imagine he's still going to be able to do it?)
