Does anyone know if they offer rush for Encores productions? If so how difficult is it usually to get rush tickets?

No, they don't offer rush. The balcony has $35 tickets available.

I once spoke to someone at Encores about how they stopped offering Peer2Peer and don't offer a rush for better seats day of for the shows that don't sell as well. They said they count the $35 seats as the same price any rush would be.

All the last Encores! I've been to had discount codes available, and I always sat side mid-mezz for around $50. I haven't seen anything for this one yet and am a bit worried. Is it selling to much better than the last couple Encores? It starts in a week, so discounts really should show up soon, if there will be any :/

It has been selling incredibly well for the run. Most to all of orchestra and most to all of grand tier and front mezz are sold out. Most to all of the $35 balcony tix are gone. I've been keeping tabs hoping to snag a closer seat that might discount as the dates near but no such luck.
Edit: I should clarify that there are still plenty of rear mezz seats, as well as the much more expensive balcony center seats ($90).

Mmm, I'll definitely wait a few more days to see if it might show up on TodayTix...
Edit: Geez, they are selling the entire rear-mezz for $90, and some of the balcony too? Those seats really are not that good! Not sure if I need to see it that badly for those prices to be honest... Don't think I'll go without a discounts after seeing these prices...
Is this one more expensive then other Encores? I pretty sure my regualar mid-mezz seats were around $80 full price, and $56 with a 30% discount...

I have a ticket for the 7:30 performance on Thursday, March 31st that I'm looking to sell. I bought it a few months ago but now have to work that evening--I purchased another seat for myself for Sunday, so I no longer need the one for Thursday night. Mezzanine Row B, Seat 29. With fees I paid $80; would be happy to sell it to someone here for $50. Please PM if interested. It's a PDF ticket, so I can email it to you.
Update: Ticket has been sold!

This is selling incredibly well. I too was hoping for a $35 balcony seat, but no luck. I don't see a discount code either. I guess all the people who can't get into Hamilton are buying tickets for 1776!

Y'all, it's called dynamic pricing. It's nothing new.
The performance is selling extremely well so they've upped their prices on whatever inventory they've got left. This should not come as a shock.
And FWIW, front balcony is quite good at City Center. Not $90 worth, but still quite good if you REALLY want to go. Better than rear-mezz I'd say.

I didn't want to start a new thread and I searched before I posted, but I seem to recall, ages ago, somebody mentioning that you could attend the dress rehearsal at Encores, but you had to go to the box office for tickets.
Did I dream this or make this up in my head, entirely? Would anyone know if the dress is open to the public and if so, how one might get tickets for it?

Not everyone here has been in the city for ages and knows all the details. I was fortunate enough to be living in the city for one year now (and leaving again is just a few weeks), and before that had never been able to attend an Encores and didn't follow their pricing. I did attend all while I was here, and they were all the same price, down to the cent, so I didn't expect this one to be different, and they all had star-studded casts. That's all. No reason to be condescending.
I'd be interested to know if the dress rehearsal thing is correct, if anyone has insight on that.

I've never heard of an open dress rehearsal at Encores, and I've lived here for 8 years.

It hasn't been dynamic from the standpoint of upping their prices. They did not adjust the prices for the remaining inventory.
I don't know what their Encore! (Broadway revival) shows have gone for historically. I've only been to two Encores! Off-Center (Off-Broadway revival) shows, and the Off-Center balcony side/rear seats went for $25 last year and still do this year. The front center balcony went for $50 and still do.
I suffered sticker shock at the Encores! pricing this year, but I think it was because I expected Off-Center pricing and hadn't realized they were priced differently.
