To all who question whether Engelbert ever appeared on Broadway. The answer is Yes, he did, when New York was not a slime town, as this "forum" seems to be proving with each comment added. All you or the majority of you, are looking for is your 15 minutes of fame. You would not recognize nor respect true talent, if it hit you between the eyes. Engelbert just finished a concert in the Count Basie Theatre in N.J., then at Foxwoods in Ct. and all seats were sold out. He is into his 42 year in Show Business, and is still going strong. As Engelove stated, we Engelbert friends do not knock other performers. They all have their own following, and that is as it should be, but there are some people, who, having nothing good happening in their lives, seek out these forums to spread their filth, lies and worse. A sad commentary for New York, and some of it's inhabitants. You are all to be pitied because while wallowing like pigs in the mud, you have missed some of the best years, the best entertainment, and the best music heard these last 42+ years. God help you all.

Ok.

And thanks for joining, just to say that.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
